Had a great stay at David’s place for the duration of my type rating, it truly felt like a home away from home. The owner (David) is a genuinely friendly man and is ready to help with any queries you may have. The house is spacious and has a nice garden as well, the rooms are spacious enough and have a desk/table which is useful for studying. The My15 line which will get you to the airport and the training centre stops at only a 2 minute walk away from David’s place. Alternatively the Castle Donington is about a 10 minute walk away so everything you need is within reach. All in all a very pleasant experience and I can definitely recommend David’s place.

Julie and the homeowners were always helpful and impeccable. You can tell they work hard to maintain this wonderful place.
We stayed at the Spitfire Hub House for over two months and had a truly wonderful time.
After completing a very challenging journey, coming home to a quiet, clean place close to everything we needed helped us focus solely on our journey.
Usually, there’s always some constructive criticism to be found, but this time I can’t find any. It’s just a shame about the number of stars I can give: five just aren’t enough!!
